Hardware and Software Requirements:
- BD-Live Blu-ray player & HDTV
- Blu-ray Disc with BD Touch features
- Wi-Fi enabled Local Area Network
- Your iPhone/iPod touch with the BD Touch App
Using BD Touch
You must insert your Blu-ray Disc with BD Touch features into your Blu-ray player and let the disc load successfully (depending on the disc an the player, this can take several minutes – you know the disc is loaded when you can access the menus).
When the disc is loaded, launch the BD Touch app on your device. It will automatically search for BD Touch discs on the network and connect to them. You will see the BD Touch remote control when it has connected.
Browse the disc using the BD Touch app. Use Blu Explore to see what downloadable goodies are included on the disc (some discs may not have anything) and select items to download. When they are downloaded they will appear in the Blu Lounge. You can also view related movie information. Have fun!

Troubleshooting Guide
Does your Blu-ray disc have BD Touch features on it?
Blu-ray disc with BD Touch will feature the BD Touch logo on the back of the box and the disc’s menu will have a selection that describes BD Touch (this option may be included in the “Bonus” or “Features” section of the disc – it is up to each studio or authoring house to decide where to put this menu option). Check to make sure your disc is BD Touch-enabled.
Is your Blu-ray disc fully loaded when you are launching the BD Touch app?
The BD Touch connection can not activate until the Blu-ray disc has completely loaded. Usually, you will see some type of loading screen while the disc spins up. Make sure the disc is playing and the menus appear on screen before launching the BD Touch app. (You can always hit “Re-scan” on the BD Touch app to try to connect again).
Is your Blu-ray player compatible with BD Touch?
BD Touch is designed to work with all BD Live (Profile 2.0) Blu-ray players. Please see the list of compatible players here(link). Is your Blu-ray player compatible?
Is your Blu-ray player connected to your home network?
Blu-ray players with BD Live capability connect to your home network via a wired connection (you need to plug the Blu-ray player into your network router with an Ethernet cable) or wifi (it connects to your network router wirelessly). A BD Live – enabled player won’t be able to use BD Touch if it is not connected to your home network. Most BD Live players have an option to test the Internet connection. Make sure your player can connect to the Internet.
Is your iPhone/iPod Touch connected to your home network via WiFi?
Make sure that WiFi is turned “on” in your iPhone/iPod Touch settings, and make sure that it is connected to the same network router as your Blu-ray player. BD Touch does not work if your Blu-ray player and your mobile device are connected to different routers.
